Beautiful

Now this is what messaging should look like, I can’t wait to see more users sign up.

Looks awesome, doesn’t work though.

I was unable to get through the registration, but up until then it looked like a nice experience.

Nearly there

Fantastic modern interface. Could be a really great Skype replacement. However, there is currently no search the contents of a chat function, which is a glaring omission in 2014. Hopefull this will be added soon.

Awesome !

Awesome ! & And nothing else matters

great

Application is fantastic, really better than skype... well, everything is better than skype

Great start

Looks like a great beginning. I like the look and basic operation. However, please don’t give me any app in OSX that can’t have the dock icon turned off and menubar integration. For me a messaging/comm. app needs to be out of the way until needed or notified. Also, along with menubar integration I would love to see more shortcut options. perhaps a shortcut key to send a current web link to someone for example.

The version is very RAW. For BETA testers.

Nice design, but the version is very raw. Tested on Mac OS X 10.10.1 and Iphone 5 ios8. Drawbacks: - Mac OS X app crashes a lot. - Calling does not work at all. - Push notifications come 5 or more minutes later. - Slow connection to the other user. Hope, this will be improved in the future.

wow - this is beautiful

what lovely experience in an app. looking forward to using this.

Missing Key Features

Its ambiguous about the history and if it is stored… there are no settings for a retention period. Seriously Distracting Lack of Features: * No Ctrl+F (Find) feature to look up previous conversations. * Voice calls, but no Video? * No screensharing * No Feed integration (like twitter and FB) Very Simple, and looks great which I like… but almost to its detriment in lacking of features. I find zero reason to migrate now, but maybe in the future?

Barebones but beautiful!

It’s lacking in preferences (can’t turn off emoticons) but it’s already pretty great! Beautiful, simple, and works very well. I hope to see more things in future updates.

Pretty Awesome - But Still A Few Desires

Its awesome and super clean. The only things on my wishlist for this app would be some relatively standard features: (listed in order of priority) - Ability to send Videos - Send Voice Messages - Send Location

Gorgeous!

Love this app so far! I’m looking forward to video capabilities and other features to come, but so far I’ve had no issues. When I first downloaded the mobile app I needed to turn my phone off then on again to get the notifications, but it’s been working seamlessly. The UI is truly awesome, inuitive, and minimalistic. Love it.

Get this!!!

I’m only reviewing because I want everyone to download it…it’s stunning and I want to be able to use it for everyone. Also, one massive pro is that you can listen to/watch links in the app instead of opening in a new screen or app.

Amazing new app

This app, for being the very first version, is incredible. I never even write reviews, but I love this. The design across all platforms is beautiful, the chat works amazingly and the calls are clearer than Skype by far and are just as good as facetime but without the connection issues. Love that it’s end to end encrypted. There are obviously things I want to see improved, such as the ability to only have plaintext emoticons without those silly icons, the ability to send files other than pictures, and obviously a search function for the chat. These I’m sure will come in time. What really blew me away was the trasnferring calls between clients. It happened so easily I coudln’t believe it. This is something that skype, facetime, and many others do not do AT ALL nonetheless so seemlessly. You would expect that facetime, with handoff and continuity would, but it doesn’t, making this even more competitive Overall, I’m hugely impressed. I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to dump skype for a long time now as they’ve gone downhill fast. I have definitely found my replacement for the time being.

Who do I talk to?

This would be way more useful if it connected to existing interfaces like Gchat. Who do I talk to? Myself?

It’s Pretty but...

… well thats about all I can say about it. It asked me to share my contacts and then crashed. When I restarted, it didnt ask me for anything. Why isnt there a button to fetch contacts again? Im all for the basics and I think this is on the right track but there needs to be an actual interface of some sort even if it’s hidden. Is it? Ill check back soon. Until then…. It’s just pretty… (useless)

Amazing, but needs continuous improvements

Really amazing app, nice way to start, genius interface! One thing concerns me, though: it’s a very nice start, but will the developers keep this app always innovating and improving? Even in small steps, that would be the desired experience. If it’s just another awesome app that will be sold to google and drop support, then it’s a waste of our time. But seriously, congratulations!

another closed ecosystem network.

Why does the world need yet another closed social networking app?

Best Thing Ever!

This is totally broken, took me three restarts to be able to answer calls. Random scroll bar on mavericks. Very little options for customization. Some more awesome features: Option to enlarge someones face in bottom right of chat by clicking on their image. My favorite Chat: I could type in it eventually Voice: you can talk to people People seem to be generous, to what seems very much a beta, where the only somewhat unique feature is the styling, and the enlarge face feature. There must be something I’m missing, maybe it is beautiful in windows. But I’m generous too so I give it 5 stars

Can’t log out of the currently logged in user….

I would love to use this app, but I can’t log out of the app and log in as another (my) user. Maybe I’m being dense, but I can’t find the log-off function anywhere.
